Our team includes Dr. Clint Basener, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine; Dr. Amy Hurlburt, a double board-certified physician in obstetrics, gynecology, and internal medicine; Dr. Jeffrey R. Morris, an orthopedic surgeon with expertise in trauma and joint reconstruction; and Dr. Carolyn Berg, a hand surgeon with extensive experience in upper extremity care. Together, we collaborate to deliver comprehensive and compassionate healthcare services to our community.

CLINT BASENER, DO
Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine
Dr. Clint J. Basener, DO received his medical degree from Des Moines University, and Internship from St James Hospital, Midwestern University, Olympia Fields, Illinois. He completed an orthopedic residency in both pediatrics and trauma here in Tulsa at Oklahoma State University Medical Center, then completing his surgical sports medicine and arthroscopic fellowship at Wellington Orthopedics and University of Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy in June 2010.
As an orthopedic sports medicine physician, Dr. Basener is dedicated to treating injuries of the musculoskeletal system, with a special focus on shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and foot and ankle injuries. He has served as a team physician for Cincinnati Bengals, University of Cincinnati, men’s football and basketball, Tulsa Oilers, Tulsa Talons, and Tulsa Public Schools.
Dr. Basener is committed to providing a broad continuum of care. His focus is to see a patient through the consultation, surgical, and rehabilitation process, mindful of the individual’s current and future performance needs. He is sought out by medical case managers because of his expertise, attention to detail, and he avidly becomes his patients’ advocate during the treatment process optimizing the outcome.
Dr. Basener treats adults, adolescents, and pediatric patients. His favorite recognition is the high percentage of patients that return to see him or patients that are referred to him by other patients. He covers several Tulsa hospital facilities. In addition to the local hospitals, he has helped bridge the healthcare gap in the rural areas. Dr. Basener co-manages a rural orthopedic clinic in Henryetta. The clinic in this rural area brings services to the local communities which provide improved patient outcomes at lower costs.

AMY HURLBURT,

Dr. Hurlburt is a practicing Gynecologist and Internist in the Tulsa area. It is rare for a physician to have completed both residencies and she has found that this combination allows her to truly take care of the whole individual.​
She attended Michigan State University for undergraduate studies and graduated cum laude in Psychology. Dr. Hurlburt then moved to California where she attended the prestigious University of California Los Angeles where she received two master’s degrees. She holds a master’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience as well as in the Physiological Sciences.​
In 2002 she attended Midwestern University in Chicago and received the title Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. Dr. Hurlburt is double board-certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as in Internal Medicine. Dr. Hurlburt has previously been on faculty with the American Board Review. She currently focuses her care in women’s health and gynecology but does take care of men as well. She is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Osteopathic Internists.​

Dr. Hurlburt enjoys hanging out with her family and running after her two children. She also loves to watch college football and go to her body combat class.
She participates in most insurance plans and is currently taking new patients.

JEFFREY R. MORRIS, DO
Adult Reconstruction and Orthopedics
Dr. Jeffrey R. Morris earned his undergraduate degree from Concord College in Biology in 1980. Dr. Morris attended medical school at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine graduating in 1985. His residency was completed at Tulsa Regional Medical Center, Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Resident in Orthopedic Surgery in 1990.​
Dr. Morris is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, Tulsa District Osteopathic Society, Tulsa Orthopedic Society, Oklahoma Osteopathic Association, Oklahoma State Medical Association, and Tulsa County Medical Society.​
His sub-specialty/special interests are Trauma, Total Joint Arthroplasty, Arthroscopic Surgery, Sports Medicine, and Hand Surgery. Dr. Morris and his family reside in Tulsa. He enjoys sports, such as ice hockey, soccer, hunting, fly fishing, and motorsports. These interests have led him to serve as a team physician for several local sports teams.

CAROLYN BERG, MD
Hand Surgeon

Dr. Berg is a board-certified hand surgeon who completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University and then attended Baylor College of Medicine for medical school, residency and hand fellowship training. She has practiced solely in her specialty since 2011 and has gained significant experience in diagnosing and treating conditions of the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow. Dr. Berg is also a provider for the Veterans Administration and is an active member with the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. She accepts most insurances and has hospital privileges at Oklahoma Surgical Hospital, Natalie Outpatient at St. Francis, Memorial Surgery Center and the VA.
